Eric Blake

Paraplanner

As a Paraplanner at Blake Wealth Management, I support our planning team by helping build retirement plans, conducting investment research, and analyzing the tax and financial information that guide the strategies we deliver to clients. A large part of my work involves organizing data, running projections, and making sure every detail behind the scenes aligns with the goals, values, and long-term needs of the families we serve.

Being part of the family business carries a lot of meaning for me. I grew up watching my dad, Eric, build this practice with intention, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve others well. Those early experiences shaped the way I approach my work today. And now, working alongside my mom, Dawn, and my sister, Kaitlyn, adds another layer of pride and purpose. Contributing to a firm where our family values are woven into every interaction is something I don’t take lightly.

Before joining the firm, I earned my degree in accounting from Western Governors University in 2023 and spent four years with LMW Tax Solutions. During that time, I gained hands-on experience preparing tax returns, identifying planning opportunities, and helping people understand how their financial choices connect to the bigger picture.

Outside of the office, I’m someone who enjoys staying active and pushing myself toward new challenges. In April 2024, I completed the Ironman triathlon in The Woodlands, Texas — a 140.6-mile race that tested every bit of mental and physical endurance I had. Training for and completing that event taught me a lot about consistency, patience, and breaking big goals into manageable steps.
